Introduction

Zimbabwe's tourism highlights are well known to the people all around the world and and it is not all that difficult to be in this part of country where you can spend days after days without any problem and can enjoy the best of all the things that the country has to offer to its tourists.Much of Zimbabwe consists of a central plateau or highveld which stretches from southwest to northeast with a mountainous region along the Eastern border rising up to 2440m (8000ft) in altitude. There is a river called the Zambezi, rivers with names that evoke the mystery of Africa are very famous here. Wildlife is plentiful and you may choose to see it on guided game drives, walking safaris or from the river, whichever way, you will be escorted by some of Africa's most highly qualified and informative safari guides.

Business and Economy

The government of Zimbabwe faces a wide variety of difficult economic problems as it struggles with a lot of problems like low resources and not economic funds for caryying out any proper development programs for the folks of the country and an unsustainable fiscal deficit, an overvalued exchange rate, soaring inflation, and bare shelves have just done nothing but added to their worries and increased their liabilities. Its 1998-2002 involvement in the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, for example, drained hundreds of millions of dollars from the economy. This has made them in dire straits and in need of funds from influential countries as well as the support from the IMF but this support has been suspended because of the country's failure to meet budgetary goals. Inflation rose from an annual rate of 32% in 1998 to 383% in 2003, and is expected to reach 700% in 2005.
